I noticed this awhile ago, but haven't asked about it to verify the info. There isn't a current catalog to check either.
It appears that the Associates in Arts or Science in the school of Liberal Arts at Excelsior College do not have a math requirement. (It is called a 2 credit quantitative requirement for the Bachelor of Arts or Science degrees.) For the AS, you need at least 6 credits in Natural Science/Math to meet the general education requirements, so you should be able to choose all science in that section. (Note: They do not count computing toward the natural science/math area.)
To look for more possibilities, choose the degree on this list of Programs, then download the requirements at the bottom of the next page.
Degree Programs
Also choose Downloadable Documents at the bottom of the page, then Catalogs for the current ones available for the other schools at EC.
Please let us know what you find out.

OK Excelsiors does seem to have a fit. Now I wonder if everything to transfer in OK. What is this 1credit, it is required or can it be avoided?

Yes, Excelsior does have a generous transfer policy for college/university credits, military credits, ACE credits, and testing credits.
If you want to use FEMA credits, those need to be transferred through FCC ($75 per credit) or CCC ($40 per quarter credit = .66 semester credit). (You can get 3 free NFA credits through ACE, so transfer FEMA last, as needed.)
By 1 credit, do you mean Information Literacy? If you have already taken a course that covered library/computer research for gathering accurate information to write papers, then you may not need this. Otherwise, EC offers the course for $335 (less for members of the military), Penn Foster for $125, and LSU (not sure of price).

Here is a synopsis of the requirements:
Associate in Science at Excelsior College – 60 credits
General Education for AS – 9 credits in two areas and 6 credits in one area
Humanities
Social Sciences/History
Math/Natural Science
Written English Requirement – 3 credits
Information Literacy – 1 credit
Arts and Sciences – 3 credits
Arts and Sciences/Applied Professional – 29 credits
Comparing your credits:
For the Gen Ed credits, it looks like you will either need 3 more credits in Humanities or 1 more credit in Natural Science. (I don't think DC Circuits will count as Science; you'll need to check. Even without that, you should have plenty of Arts & Sciences credits for the rest of the AS degree.) For Humanities, consider the Analyzing & Interpreting Literature CLEP for 6 credits.
You probably need Info Lit.
You need to double-check the lack of a math (quantitative) requirement.
By applying ($75) and sending in your transcripts, they should be able to do an unofficial evaluation to confirm your Free Electives section (Applied Professional) credits. Or you may be able to get this through the military office.

If I have taken all of the required courses, how much would it be just to get the degree. Is there some kind of mandatory class and what would be the cost. After looking at the website I am a little discouraged with the costs.

I'm sure if you keep looking, you can find a "degree" for $199 AND with no math requirement. :leaving:
