Assessment Attempts and Draft Question

Hello.  I greatly appreciated the post about using the drafts, and having it a the top of the page as a reminder. I've done this for two courses so far that I have passed (the third pass was a test only) 

I've currently submitted my draft, and have the note "ATTEMPT 1 — DRAFT SUBMISSION" on the page, with a button to "Edit and Resubmit"; with  "Overall Comments from the Grader" - "Great start on the final assessment" (and includes some specific pointers on areas to focus on) The status is "Status
Returned with Comments"

Once I update my draft and submit there, am I submitting as a final assessment, or a 2nd draft submission?  (is a 3rd draft permissible?)

Additionally when it says "Attempt 1" - does that perhaps mean that if i receive a C or less on the final assessment paper, that I have one more attempt at the course? (Before having to contact Cody).

You only get 1 attempt at the rough draft. The second attempt is the final submission. You're supposed to take the feedback and make the changes requested. I don't know anyone who's gotten a C. If they have, they haven't posted about it. There's only 2 attempts. If you don't get a B, you'd need to speak with Cody about what to do.
