And I fail at spelling Arctic.. Weeee...
So, is everyone enjoying this nice little breeze that the US is getting from up north?
Right now its 17 degrees (feels like 0) outside in Tulsa, OK... We're supposed to be getting down to 2 degrees for our low tonight.
So much for global warming, eh? :p

Here in NJ we are having a warm spell today, I think it hit 36( but wind chill is 30)!! We are in for more snow tomorrow and a weekend in the teens.
I HATE COLD!!!
I have lived in NJ all my life, but I can't take the cold anymore. I have an Aunt and Uncle on the gulf coast of Florida who say I can come stay anytime. THis year I need to work and make money here, but they are having a cold spell anyway. We drove to Myrtle Beach to visit my sister for Christmas and they were having freeze warnings. I just can't get away from it.
I guess I just need to put pictures of warm tropical beaches as my screen saver and trick my mind into thinking it is warm(or I could go into the living room where my husband has the woodstove blasting and the temp up to 85)hilarious

I lived in Washington DC for around 30 years total of my life. It gets cold and bitter, and usually February dumps a ton of snow on them. When I moved to OK, I thought I was getting away from all that, moving to the sunny mid-west. That couldn't have been further from the truth... It was a lateral move, if anything, and it is compounded by OK's freak weather. Snowfall one day, 70 degrees the next. (Well, I'm wishing it would hit 70... We still have snow & ice on the ground from Christmas Eve, its frozen solid and has made a mess of parking everywhere.)
I hate cold weather... I don't know how the people that live in the northern states deal with it.

Hi Jade,
Like Linda, I'm also a JerseyGirl...my brothers up in MN....he just told me his neighbors new truck battery wouldn't work a few days ago. He said he never saw anything like that before. He tells me about the opportunities and the people...blah blah blah...I actually think MN is beautiful....but you guys can keep your winters! I don't know how you do it. BBBRRRRRrrrrrrr

This is my first winter in Boise. Before that I lived in Sacramento and San Diego. The seasons I was accustomed to before were Summer and Overcast...
It's been in the 30s to 40s here lately. Somehow that doesn't seem to cold anymore. When the storms first hit it went down to like 5.

We have gotten nailed here in the Northeast. We have had cold, cold and more cold. Then snow, snow and more snow. We have had days with the wind chill were its heading to below zero. Its the wind that kills you. Thank heavens we have had sun most days or we would all turn into popcicles!!! Today it was a overcast and warm 32 degrees. Feels like Florida!

Bitter cold at times in Northern Virginia lately, other times just normal winter weather. Where's that global warming we were promised, dammit?!?
