Hello,
Before I order the books I wanted to make sure these SL classes will be accepted by TESC. Of course I have only applied and am not enrolled so they won't give me much information.
I was given this link but I'm not sure if it's current or not.
EquivalencySearchResults
Specifically the classes I need to know if approved by TESC are:
SL Business Law = Law 201
SL Organizational Behavior
SL Business Ethics = As a Business Elective at TESC

I transferred Organizational Behavior and Business Ethics over to TESC. At first they only counted the ethics course as a general elective, but when I asked why a course with "Business" in the name didn't count as a business elective, they counted it. I don't know about the other two, as I used CLEP exams for those.

Business Law counts as LAW-201
Organizational Behavior counts as MAN-311 (Group 3 of GMS Required Areas)
Business Ethics counts as PHI-384 and will fall under Gen Electives, Humanities Electives, or Business Electives depending on your needs to complete your degree.
I did not take Principles of Management but I hear it is a super easy CLEP, so you might want to knock it out that way.

Hello Everyone.
I'll be enrolling at TESC for BSBA in Accounting in the next few months. Maybe someone who is currently enrolled/applied can help with this question. I have already taken the DSST Business Ethics & Society exam. Based on the TESC course equivalency on Straighterline's website...it shows that Straigherline's Business Ethics course does transcribe as PHI-384. I just want to confirm that the DSST Business Ethics exam and Straighterline's Business Ethics exam WILL NOT DUPLICATE. Just concerned since the titles were so similar and did not want to run into a problem with that. Plus...I'd rather take Straighterline's Business Ethics course than the DSST Ethics in America to finish TESC's new ethics requirement!!!
Thanks in advance :-)

DSST-Business Ethics= BUS-302-Business Ethics and Society
S.L. Business Ethics= PHI-384-Ethics and the Business Professional
Seeing as how they are transcribed as two totally different fields of study(Business & Philosophy), I see no reason why they would duplicate.

Hey Ironhead...thanks for responding.
I was thinking the very same thing. I'm just naturally paranoid about things like this! Money's going to be extremely tight for me over the next 6 to 12 months so I'd hate to waste it on duplicating credits.
I noticed in previous threads that DSST Business Ethics & Society does take care of the Business in Society requirement for TESC. What was interesting was that I thought instead of BUS-302 that the DSST Business Ethics & Society exam would have came in as BUS-311 which is what the Business in Society TECEP is. Thought that was kinda strange that's why I hate to assume things.
Thanks again for the assistance and keep up the good work...looks like you're almost finished with your degree :-)
