Applying to EC with all requirements done
#1
Hello,

I am planning on applying next week to EC for a Assoc of Science in Liberal Arts. I have all of the requirements completed. So I will pretty much be paying the enrollment and the grad fee.

I remember reading something about how ec will sometimes apply your enrollment fee to your graduation fee if you are approved for graduation in 30 days. The only problem is I can't seem to find that thread again. If anyone knows where it is or what I am talking about that would be of great help.

Thanks!

Congratulations!

Here is a thread that may help. Read the posts by Marrianne 202 and my last one.

I recommend that you enroll and have everything sent to them, then after they do your official eval apply for graduation. For me it was my SSF renewal that they credited back towards my graduation fee so I'm not sure how that works with an initial enrollment. It is the burser's office that makes the decision. So you could call or email them. Let me know how it works out, because I'm in the BSHS and will be transferring to the BSLS to and immediately applying for graduation then moving back to BSHS to finish it up, so I would like to know how it works for you.

Good Luck and Congrats!

I'd like to know more about this. Are you sure EC will award both BS degrees?

[Update: EC allows two BS degrees when going through two different schools of the college.]

Hey BBQ, I'm following your exact lead! Same school, same degree, and same plan about getting the required courses done before transferring everything in to graduate. I look foward to your update.Cool

I took my first standardized test yesterday, and I had to input a college to have it sent to. They would not have allowed me to test without giving them a code. I input Empire State College SUNY, but I haven't started there yet and having discovered IC, I am pretty sure I am better off forfeiting my $50 enrollment fee at SUNY and testing out of my degree entirely at TESC or EC or CO. So if I decide to drop SUNY before taking my next test, what do I do about the college code on the test? I'm ready to take my next test but waiting to figure this out.
