A friend told me that sources at the school are saying that some new changes are coming, one being this below. Is it true? I don't know only time will tell.
LIB-495 Liberal Arts Capstone strongly recommended. AS OF JULY 2012, THIS WILL BE A REQUIREMENT.

Yikes!
I wonder if this has something to do with accreditation.
Let us know if you get further confirmation or not.

If this turns out to be the case, at least it will solve the GPA dilemma.

I haven't, but then I'm not enrolled so I really wouldn't expect much if I called TESC to try and confirm....

I talked to an adviser today about my BA and asked about it. She said they consider it every year and wouldn't be surprised by the change. I wouldn't call that a definite answer, just keep in mind that the capstone or many different things can always change at any institution.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

That's true. And now that I'm only 9 hours away from my degree (according to the current catalog) I guess it's time to formalize my relationship with TESC and enroll.

One would think I'd be "grandfathered in" since I enrolled in February and will likely be done before July 1. Right?
