Applying for graduation at TESC question

I have finished all of my requirements, sent off several weeks ago to have my AP test score sent in and passed the two DSST tests I needed. My question is if I can go ahead and apply for graduation before January 1st since those scores should be in shortly. I would assume that by the time I actually came under review everything would be set. Any thoughts? Obviously I would rather not wait until June to graduate if possible.

It's worth a shot. I'm still waiting for my final PF grade to post, and I sent in my graduation form 2-3 days ago. They already credited my account and I am praying for a March graduation.

You both should be fine - they are very flexible with their filing deadlines.

Jakm13 and ironheadjack, have either of your received your certified for graduation letter yet? I too am slated to graduate in March with a BA in Psychology and according to my academic evaluation through the OSS portal, I have met all the degree requirements. Does anyone know approximately how long it takes to receive the certified letter after the request for graduation has been acknowledged by TESC?
To date: Transferred 60 credits in from B&M colleges, earned 57 credits by examination in 6 mos, aced the capstone to earn a BA in Psychology.

I don't remember how long it took to get the letter when I waited, but one time when I needed the letter for a job I called and they sent the letter out to me the next day. If you need the letter I would try that approach. TESC is not known for it's promptness unless they are goosed.

Just a quick question (sorry to barge into your thread, Jakm13, but it's related to your Q!
 ) My last courses officially finish on March 31. The deadline to apply for June graduation is April 1. Seeing the courses have to be finished before I apply, if I send in the paperwork on April 1, will that work?

Your letter of graduation from TESC will probably come in February. When I got my A.A. in September last year, they sent out and approved the degrees in late August.
I put in my Request for Graduation form for the B.A. in early December, before my capstone was finished. The adviser told me that I would be in the March graduation, even though my grades didn't get posted until after the new year. If I were you, I'd wait for the letter to come in February. They usually send the official congratulatory letter out several weeks before the degree is conferred.

Just be aware that (according to TESC): "All materials pertaining to graduation, such as external transcripts or final grades for remaining TESC courses, should have been submitted to the Office of the Registrar by [the deadline]. I don't believe courses have to be finished by the deadline. There is a spot on the graduation form that you fill in for courses not yet completed/received. My capstone course doesn't end until February 23, and I applied for March graduation.

Thanks guys! Ironheadjack, can you let us know how that goes? I'm kind of nervous because there's 1 day between when my courses end and when TESC says they need to have all the paperwork, grades... I haven't gotten course grades back that fast.
