I am. I'm excited to watch the people on this forum graduate. I won't have a clue who they are but I'll be happy for them nonetheless. :hurray:
If anyone cares to make a list of our members that we know are at commencement today, that would be great.
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

Though I won't be graduating today, and am not a COSC student, yet I am as happy as the graduands so much so that I am logged in already, waiting patiently until 19:30 Europe Summer Time (GMT+02:00) when the program starts. Congratulations to our very own Degreeforum members who are:hurray: graduating today.

Congrats everyone. Was it worth going? I enjoyed the ceremony although they tend to recycle their speeches from the previous year. It was fun too watch!

I equally enjoyed watching the program. I enjoyed the "funny" speech given by that politician?

Yes, Senator Christopher Murphy was pretty funny with all those old cracks about the other senators. That baseball joke was pretty comical. The remaining speeches were pretty much exact repeats of the previous years with different stats inserted. Of course, if I'd just pay attention to my own graduation, I wouldn't know that. LOL

Lol, Senator Murphy's speech was very funny, and poignant at the same time. Definitely a great pick for the ceremony.
I also got to meet a fellow forum member, Dr. John.
Overall, I'd say that the graduation experience was definitely worth it. Connecticut is a beautiful state, and the campus of CCSU is equally beautiful. Getting to shake hands with President Klonoski was also quite neat. My favorite part of the day was meeting my adviser. She gave me great advice last year (around this time) when I was getting ready to start (and finish) my program, and it was absolutely wonderful to get to shake her hand and thank her in person.
