I am going to be taking Calculus II. I just got a used textbook and got the accompanying workbook as well. The syllabus says only 3 exams, midterm and a final.
How many questions are on the exams? 15? 25?
Are the exams multiple choice and/or true/false?
Are they solve the problem and fill in the answer?
Will sites like Mathway, Quickmath, etc. be of any help? Is it worthwhile buying a month or two subscription?
Any other tips?
Thanks

I am nowhere near a calculus student, but have you looked into ALEKS? ALEKS would likely be quicker and probably a better instructor for any math subject. My DH took SL Algebra. He passed but from what I could tell, ALEKS seemed like a better teaching/learning tool.
Just my 2 cents... I can't say for sure and like anything else, learning styles vary.

Aleks only goes up to pre-calc.
And if it is anything like their college algebra, I would avoid it anyway.

LOL ha ha you can tell how far I got in math...
I really liked the ALEKS learning method in general. I also liked SL, but from what I saw of DH's algebra, I liked ALEKS better, but since there isn't an ALEKS option, it can't hurt to try! After all, SL is offered at a very good price. If you hate it and do horribly, you're just out a few bucks and a little bit of time. You might as well give it a shot.

I had trouble with the Calculus I through Straighterline. I passed, but just barely. Was Calculus II much harder through Straighterline than Calculus I was? Is there any sites that can help you prepare or get through the tests?

I haven't taken this course but you could look at KhanAcademy.org and Calculus.org for possible help.

Calculus II was hard for me. I passed with a B but it was hard.
