Any feedback on the exam?
There are no instantcert flash cards for the Tech writing DSST. Does anyone know where I can take a practice test?

The specific exam feedback has good info, see my suggestions in a recent thread and use the Handbook of Technical Writing 6th edition or later.
Good Luck

I took this exam last week and passed comfortably with a 63 (46 needed to pass). If you know your way around English comp fairly well, a little brush up on the technical writing-centric aspects and you should be good to go. There’s a good online technical writing course at:

I don’t feel it’s necessary to delve too deeply into the granular detail of the material, but this is a good review to help you get your mind around the basics.
I also compiled a bullet-point style study guide from the various IC member’s feedback and which helped me to focus on select areas of the anticipated exam content. If you want to PM me your email address I can send you my notes.
You should also check with your academic advisor to see if your university requires the optional essay component on the exam. Mine did not, so I was pleased to be able to skip this section which limited the exam to multiple choice-only questions. This one is definitely doable with a moderate level of preparation. Good luck...

You can check to see if Prometric (the official DSST website) is still offering a practice exam.
Here is the info:
