Does WGU also accept ACE credit? I assume they do, but then again I've been wrong a lot of times before.

Thanks, I really might consider finishing out the CIS degree and then applying to WGU for an IT degree, although it might seem like a waste of time to some instead of just going for a Masters there or elsewhere.

Do you qualify for a Pell Grant? You might only have to take out a small amount of loans at WGU or pay the rest out of pocket. However, the best way to stretch your Pell Grant is to attend a cheap community college and use your refund check to pay for CLEP, DSST, Saylor, Straighterline, etc.

I want to thank everyone who took the time to respond and offer me help. It means a lot, and has given me much to think about. I am going to spend some time discerning on what path I will follow.
Best Regards!!! SRPA
