I am in the Sept 08 TESC graduating class. I was just wondering if anyone else got their diploma in the mail yet?

Random question-
Does the mat come in the mail when you get your diploma? (probably not, I assume). I found the online website that you can use to order your mat/frame, but theyâre like $135-$145. I want to get it custom framed on my own at Michaelâs but I want the mat.
Did you buy it on your own or did it come with the diploma?
I'm done!

Ha, just when I was starting to get a little lazy and unmotivated...I see this post. Impressive, or at least I think so. I have one class left to complete until I graduate (March 09 hopeful) and can't wait to see this diploma in the mail. It looks pretty good on that jpg. I am interested in where that mat is from as well because I would love to see that hanging on my "wall".

Patsgirl, the mat does not come with the diploma. You can order a mat at many places, but if you want the official seal on it, you have to buy it there.
Peacfulchaos, glad to help motivate you!

Thanks,
That's what I thought. I want the seal (I just think it looks better) and I was trying to find a way to do it without going through Framing Success since they're expensive.
Oh well, what's another little bit of money added in? hilarious

I'm going to order a double frame from Framing Achievements online. They can do the gold "Thomas Edison State College" into the matting as well. The double frame will have my AA and BA in one big frame. It's going to be expensive- about $200, but with all that money I saved using CLEPs....well I guess I can spend a few extra dollars. My first degree was (is) in a frame from the dollar store in 1990. A freakin dollar! LOL When I have a little extra cash I am going to get a decent frame for it too. Those degrees are hard work, we should display them proudly!!!
