Anyone do any trades or hobbies?

I wanted to bring this topic back since I recently got back into collecting comic books. Anyone else? I'm heading to the Baltimore Con here in September, should be interesting to see all the Bronies...

I'd collect more if I could justify it but that'll have to wait. I grew up a Marvel guy but going forward I want to build up a library of really nice hardcover omnibus/masterwork/library edition/etc. collections of very important runs in DC, Marvel, and probably Dark Horse. Have you every heard of people getting custom made bindings? It's pretty cool, basically book binding places nowadays will do one-shot orders so some fans will hand them a run of issues to be bound into a nice hardcover. Obviously no one would butcher a really expensive or rare set of comics this way, but if you are a fan of something easily found in the dollar bins that has never been (and probably will never be) collected into a nice edition then it is a really fun thing to do. When I have worry-free hobby money again I will be looking into that some more.
