I create generic degree plans that mostly utilize tests and try to find alternative sources of credit. I'm being serious. hilarious

I also create hip hop and R&B tracks on FL Studio. If I had more time and money, I would be earning certifications galore even though I don't know how I would keep up with the continuing education requirements. Currently, I'm working on the Enrolled Agent designation. I just have one more test to pass. After that, I'll probably work on CISSP or patent agent. At least being a patent agent doesn't require continuing education credits. Once I have the money, I plan on taking a phlebotomy course. I purchased to books to study for the pharmacy technician and optician tests, but didn't have time to read them. When I work on my dissertation, I just might start the police academy. I've also looked at distance learning programs for becoming an EMT and firefighter. When I graduate from my PhD program, I will be taking the licensed chemical dependency counselor test. My dream is to become the most certified person in a wide array of fields on the planet. Unfortunately, I had to let my security license expire and drop my Class B CDL. But, I will have my telecommunicator license forever! That reminds me that I will have to renew my Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification soon. Confusedmilelol:

I'm also certified in OC spray, handcuffing, baton, and defensive tactics. I took a Krav Maga course, but there is no certificate that comes with it. Sad I was going to be licensed as a personal protection officer (bodyguard), but the security company I worked for at the time refused to register Level 4 licenses. In Texas, one can only earn a security license or renew it through a security employer.

Free certificates are great too. I did the Professional Development Series with FEMA just for the heck of it. I earned three certificates for emergency responders from TEEX. This free certificate in public health is what I'm doing next.

Sanantone,

What free certificates do you know of for public health, emergency responders, safety professionals? I have the PDS and a bunch of other FEMA, Cyber-Security for Everyone completed, what else? I have looked through the sister site's list which is huge but hard to figure out what is good and what is fluff, etc. Lol.

I'm not looking at getting everything humanly possible but rather something that could add to the resume.

My hobbies are fishing and riding my bike. I also still work as a Paramedic part-time to keep my license valid.

I linked to the public health certificate in my last post. I completed the online courses listed at the link below except for that one in Spanish.
TEEX Emergency Medical Services

I forgot that I have two certificates of completion for DHS courses a previous employer made us take from New Mexico Tech.

I probably have too many hobbies than I could actually list. I just had knee surgery on Friday, but danced both professionally & for fun for many years. Along with that, I have done sewing & costume design. I love going to antique stores, which some may consider a hobby, but there is so much history that can be learned at antique stores! I've done photography both professionally & for hobby. A few years ago I started really getting into cooking, & just yesterday bought a high speed blender - so I think making anything possible in the blender will be my new hobby this week. I also do indoor gardening, a lot of volunteer work, & mentoring other women from my previous profession.

Yes I am a window cleaner, Its not a certified trade but in the future COSC might offer a Master Squeegee Course Smile I also work for an accountant which might end up being my actual trade of choice. The window cleaning is seasonal (mostly) but the money is good. So is the accounting I'm supposed to be paying sales taxes right now. In window cleaning The average owner needs to earn about $60 an hour in order to earn a decent living all year round.
As a hobby I'm a Ham radio operator.
