I was curious if anyone had any experiences to share regarding Northern Arizona University's "Personalized Learning". I had my transcript forwarded to them, and they will make my "personalized plan" over the next 3 weeks. I was mostly interested in what taking the classes and tests was like. From what I've read, you take a lot of little tests until you complete a "competency", and several "competencies" will give you credit for a traditional class. For example, an "HTML competency" might be used as part of both a programming class and an ecommerce class. The classes are what equate to traditional college classes, but they are a byproduct of completing "competencies". I'm also curious if you focus on the classwork, how fast you can complete them.
