Apparently this student fled Iraq and came here to the US but because of Trump, deflected to Canada instead. I wonder what would really have happened if the family decided to stay in the US vs going to Canada. I remember a few months ago reading about a family from India freezing to death trying to come into the US from Canada... Props to her and the family, I cried reading the story of how hard she tried at succeeding...
