Any Gerentology acers out there?
#1
Hi! Taking Excelsior's Foundations of Gerentology exam next Wednesday and I'm going through IC's cards. I did a search on this test and did not come up with much. Does anyone know if I have to know all the percentages and numbers as part of the demographics dection of the cards? Anyone remember certain info or sections that I should spend extra time studying for? There were a number of these for the A&A test and it was exceptionally helpful.

All I used were the Adult & Aging flashcards. The Gerontology ones were not out yet. End up with a "C". I should have waited for them. Mostly common sense. IC is all you need.

I did get a "A" on this exam. Instantcert didn't have Gerontology up so I read the recommended book and used this site to practice my understanding. There was a lot of overlap with Adulthood and Aging.

From what I've heard on this forum, it sounds like studying both Adulthood and Aging and Gerontology should prep you well enough for this exam. If Excelsior has a sample exam for it, you should take that too.
