Another "which degree" question
#11
Got it, thanks. I have no reason for any of them, other than showing on a resume that I earned a degree, period. So maybe double, for that reason, isn't worth it.

Now, general management vs operations management....any reason for the preference on this site for GM?

Learn a trade. Gain technical skills. Make money, then use this money to get a degree...if you have the desire.

If I were you, I would just get a GM and make life easy.

Got the guardian scholarship, can someone point me to the right courses to take? I plan to do:
Intro to sociology (diversity)
Religion 101 (info lit)
History 108 vietnam (humanities)
Politics 102 us .gov (to fufill the civic engagement)

I will have 2 more classes to take, I'm assuming I should do another history course to fill out the diversity one, or do these overlap anywhere? Thanks!

I agree. There are a lot of choices, but here are some good options for

Core:
FIN 101: Principles of Finance (TESU's FIN-301)
BUS 308: Globalization and International Management (TESU's MAN-372 International Business)

Area of Study (these all come in as UL courses):
ACC 301: Applied Managerial Accounting (TESU's ACC-301)
ACC 302: Advanced Accounting (TESU's ACC-401)
BUS 106: Human Resource Management (TESU's MAN-331)
BUS 306: Strategic Human Resources Management (TESU's HRM-362)
BUS 107: Organizational Behavior (TESU's MAN-311)
BUS 309: Digital Marketing & Advertising (TESU's MAR-441)
BUS 312: Advanced Operations Management (TESU's OPM-301)
BUS 311: Project Management (TESU's MAN-435)
BUS 105: Labor Relations (TESU's LAS-321)

Since you need 4 UL courses in your AOS, these are a great inexpensive way to get them. You also need courses in 3 of the 4 areas, so I recommend Accounting, Marketing, and then general business (everything that is not MAR, ACC or FIN is general business, no matter the course prefix)
