Another English question

Ok,

I am still a little confused. I am curious how this works for both excelsior and TESC.

If I have already taken English 1a at my local college (I beleive this equates to eng. 101) can I still take the english with essay clep and get credit towards eng. 102?

I believe this is for 6 units, so would I just be awarded 3. Or is it that since I have taken an english course I am just sol.

Also how would A&I Lit. work with each of these two schools?

I only know about TESC: In your scenario above, that's exactly how it would work. The first three credits would just be washed out, at the end of the day, you would have 6 credits. As to if it overwrites the 3 or simply only awards 3 is no something I can answer. (this might matter if you had a grade of A on your English 1a and wanted to keep it....or on the other hand, if you had a C and wished to replace it)

A&I lit is 6 credits under humanities.

Whew, I'm glad it could work this way at TESC.

Any one out there with experience with how Excelsior would credit this scenario?
