Quick question: just passed my American Lit CLEP (THANK GOODNESS!!!) and I know which courses it equates to but I'm not really sure where in my plan they would go. Knowledge of Human Cultures? Gen Ed? Free Electives? Or anywhere they decide to put them? (I have space in all those categories)
Thanks!

I was just looking at this the other day to see where CLEP American Govt would fit in!
For CLEP Literature, it looks like Knowledge of Human Cultures/Humanities is the most likely GenEd category.
Here's a link to the TESU page where I found the information:

Disclaimer: Since it's TESU we're talking about, you might want to confirm this with them - in writing!

That course can be applied to a few different areas: Human Cultures (Humanities), GenEd Electives, or free electives. By default TESU will slot it in your Human Cultures category unless its already filled and GenEd elective otherwise.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but since they are going for a BALS, it could also go into their Area of Study (AOS), could it not?
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

Oh yeah, that makes sense. They'll need some LL credits in the AOS as well.

Thank you! I figured it would be wherever they wanted to put it but didn't want to assume and figured some of y'all would already know :-)

It's good to know the options so that if they put it in a slot you already have other courses planned for, you can ask them to move it where you actually need it.
