My son has been preparing for the Am Gov CLEP exam. I saw that it has an ACE expiration date of 11/30/2018.  Should I be confident that it will renew or should I be pushing for him to take the test before that date?

Almost all of their exams expire that day (I think only 1 does not), which means that unless CLEP is suddenly going away entirely, he should be fine to wait. On the other hand, if you want a 100% guarantee - take it before 11/30.
