I was looking at what I might have to take at UMPI if I decide to apply there. I took out all the gen eds and general electives because I should have all of those covered by my (RA) degree and other additional courses. I also took out classes that I have already taken or plan to take on Sophia and Study (based on the recent ACE lists posted here). This is what I am left with. Are there any other courses I might be able to knock out? I think this puts me at 36 credits. Would the Google IT Support Certification cover any of the computer-related ones?

Unless something has changed I know that Accounting on Sophia will come in as Financial Management.
Business 110 on Study comes in as Mathematics for Business
Business 102 on Study comes in as Marketing Management
Business 303 on Study comes in as Management Information Systems
Business 306 on Study comes in as Human Resource Management
Business 307 on Study comes in as Organizational Behavior
Business 310 on Study comes in as Legal & Ethical issues in Business
Business 312 on Study comes in as Operations Management

Use that link to find your school to double check that the courses you think will transfer in as a certain course actually will
http://catalog.umpi.edu/content.php?catoid=3&navoid=118
Here you can see the all of the Gen Ed requirements. Keep in mind that 30 credits are required to be taken at UMPI and it's probably easier to take those 300 level courses there and the 100 level courses on Study.

@OP, I highly suggest that you complete a couple more courses to drop that list down to 10 to be done at UMPI.

If you will have graduated with a bachelor's degree, then you're waived from the GEC. You need to take a minimum of 30 credits at UMPI and the majority of the UL's for the degree requirements need to be completed at UMPI as well. The Google cert won't fill any of the courses you need. You could easily knock these credits out in 2 sessions.

Sophia's Accounting class comes in as Financial Accounting NOT Financial Management. Those are 2 totally different topics.

Awesome! Thanks everyone. It looks like there’s at least 2 more courses I may be able to take at study.com. I’d be looking at possibly a summer start. I was enrolling in NAU, but I can’t seem to find a good timing for 6 months (I have certain crazy busy times at work that would make it hard to keep up for 6 months straight. If I can take a break in between and figure out how to get done in two or three terms, I think that would be ideal.
With NAU, I am left with 56 credits to take. Which would be at least 2 terms.

That is exactly what I am hoping to do.

No. They're not business math. It's a VERY easy class at UMPI. It's not a regular math class. If you know what a check is then you'll pass in a few days.

Lol. I took a class called Business math at one point. It was treacherous. It was part algebra, part calculus, part kill-me-now. I never took calculus in high school and it was being taught as if everyone already knew it. I got a D and cursed the day I thought it would be a good idea to take a math class and try to learn something new.

From what people have said, Business Math at UMPI sounds more like CSM Learn than anything else. Basic math to make sure you know how to read an invoice and stuff like that.
