COSC question
#1
I understand that COSC requires completion of 2 classes (Cornerstone and Capstone) from them in order to graduate.
Can both of these classes be completed in the same semester? i.e.......Cornerstone 1st 8 weeks, Capstone 2nd 8 weeks.

Or put another way, 2 classes or 2 semesters?

Thanks

You have to do them in different semesters

Also keep in mind that if you do the general studies with an Individual Studies concentration that capstone is 15 weeks not 8.

That's actually untrue. Now that the CPS is not done within the Cornerstone, you could take the Capstone immediately afterward.

I've read that they have a high failure rate for their capstone courses. Perhaps they have been revamped to give the student more time.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

Concentration Plan of Study. Back when COSC required one for all concentrations you would develop yours in the Cornerstone and submit it for approval.
