I'm planning to take American Government because of the Civic & Global learning requirement for TESU.
I need to prioritize ideally in the following order, Cal I & II, then American Gov, all from Straighterline. But they all expire this April 30th 2021.
I see a list here under the ACE courses, are there alternatives most people here use for those 3 subjects you'd recommend to take form with a later expiry date (most importantly)? Or one that is slightly less dependent on exams than SL? (ie. Sophia, SDC)

Oh wow, that's cool, it's got a later expiry date too. Thank you!

My 3 kids all preferred the CLEP exam for Am. Gov't. My daughter just took it this month. It was free too through ModernStates, and materials free online. 1 exam that you pass/fail. All 3 passed easily the first time.

Don't forget your ACE credit limit of 90. If you've got that handled, go ahead and take these credits from anywhere. Otherwise, Outlier.org and TEL Learning would be good places to start.
Before you start planning to take any CLEP exams, make sure that they're even available where you are. A bunch of testing centers are still closed and will continue to be closed indefinitely.

I took Comparative Politics on SDC in lieu of American Government. The course is a bit difficult (I give it a 5 out of 10) but overall I learned a lot from the course. SDC has lessons and quizzes after each section. SDC also has Calc I but not Calc II. So I would recommend doing SL for those.

Yea no worries on ACE credit limits. Thanks for the American gov alternatives and the tip for Cal I.
Are there any other places for CAL II or is SL by 30 April 21' the only place?

It depends on how much you're willing to pay.
Westcott (transcripted at Brandman) is $544: https://westcottcourses.com/courses.html
Doane is a bit ridiculously priced at around $1300: https://www.doane.edu/lp/prereqs.html
West Texas A&M is $932: https://www.wtamu.edu/academics/extended...index.html
Maybe DuPage (for about $700): https://www.cod.edu/catalog/current/cour...index.aspx But I don't know if it counts as Calc II.
I don't think that there are any alternate sources for Calc II besides SL. I would suggest contacting SL to see if they are renewing their Calc II course (they probably are) and, so, you shouldn't worry about the deadline.

Does TESU automatically follow Ace recommendation and has this re-evaluation happened before? SL only told be 30 April 2021 is the Re-evaluation date
I want to be sure that I can count on the deadline extending for both SL and TESU side since there aren’t many more places to take Cal 2.
