All TESC-enrolled students!
#1
For those of you who are/were enrolled, how long did it take from the time you clicked "Submit payment" to become a legally enrolled student with TESC? (Forms filled out & signed, all that...) How long till you could you get proof if needed? Hours? Days? Weeks??

Also, are "proof of enrollment" letters and Student ID cards free?

Thanks!

I got my "enrollment confirmation" email a few days after I submitted my payment, but I think you are legally enrolled right away.

Yes, I got my ID card in the mail a few weeks (not sure exactly how long it was) after I enrolled. You don't have to request it or anything; they just send them out automatically.

There's an ID card? I never received one...That can come in handy for student discounts.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

When I got my ID card it was dated effective the day I submitted my payment. I used it to enroll in Amazon Student for 6 months for free.

I had to request my ID card and it was a hassle (Not sure why, but they didn't automaticly send one to me either...??? why some and not others? no clue).
In fact, all of the general reps I spoke too said "We don't offer those" but I knew they existed cause I heard mention of them. I contacted the office of Registration, and they created a ticket for me and I got one shortly after. Easiest way to obtain one would be to probably open a ticket for the office of Registration requesting one or call the office of Registration directly. Oh, and maybe it's just me, but I can be picky about my cards I don't like just plain card stock. The card I got wasn't laminated, so I took it Office Depot and got that fixed.

I called my enrollment in and the bursar rep said it would be two hours... Sure enough, two hours later I was an enrolled student! Haven't gotten a student ID card though.

I didn't get a student ID card till months later. I enrolled sometime in June or July, and didn't get a card till Oct.
