Well, you can definitely still take the courses (or use Study.com), and then take an UL exam when you're done. More expensive that way, but you're on a deadline, and I'm thinking that a few hundred bucks spent is worth it at this point.
I would also consider making all of your courses Psych courses; not because they're better courses, but because if you take all 4 psych, then you're going to have an easier time studying (so much overlap)
I would also consider taking all 4 courses as UExcel or all 4 as Tor; if you take all UExcel's, then once you take one, you really know what to expect from the rest. I would think that was easier than taking some UExcel's and some Tor exams.
Not sure if everyone will agree with me about this, but that's just kind of the route I would go if I were you.

This is great advise.cheersmate
dfrecore Wrote:If you want to take self-paced courses instead, and fly through them as quickly as possible, you can: SL, study.com, propero.org, LowCostGenEd, JumpCourse, Ed4Credit - all have these courses.
Alternately, if you just want to take exams, study.com has 3 of these courses available - you can sign up for the Basic Edition or Premium Edition and study for them that way. I find that I do much better on exams if I feel more adequately prepared to take them. This may include taking the practice exams offered by the company (UExcel, DSST have them), using IC to study, etc. The more confident I am, the less anxiety I have.
Also, I know that nothing terrible will happen if I don't pass. I can find another exam instead, or take the course another way. So no need to panic over this ONE particular course. I have backup plans for every single course I need/want to take.

Anxiety for me is the fear that I am not good enough. So...I fake it till I make it. I talk about how I'm gonna crush the test (or whatever it is that I'm afraid of), study like I'm training for a prize fight and strut around like a jacka$$ who is God's gift to test taking. After some successes I start to actually believe it and then the confidence is real and the anxiety is gone.
This has worked for interviews, getting 2 degrees part time while working full time, dealing with a patriarchal business culture (I'm female), losing 70 pounds, mentally surviving my father's decline/hospice/passing, job duties I was never trained on but had to complete, obtaining a perfect credit score, etc.
I didn't do all this because I have some innate abilities that help me...quite the opposite actually - I'm clumsy, short, nerdy, asthmatic and impatient...it was all because when I was scared, I faked that I wasn't. Until I really wasn't anymore.

Probably unorthodox advice but I had a lot of test anxiety went I went to take my NCLEX. 2 shots of Johnny Walker was a quick and easy cure.
As far as studying the biggest piece of advice that helped me was to study with the test breakdowns by my side. If a certain subject was only covered on 5% of the test then just skim it and focus on whats 15-25% of the test. There have been numerous chapters i've skipped entirely because they were not on the tests breakdown.
