I have quite a few IT and cybersecurity certificates from working professional and was wondering if any of them would transfer to the BACS @ TESU. I believe the consensus is that TESU is not gracious when accepting certs but remain optimistic.
Sec+ transfers as CYB-2200 but how does that relate to the Comp Sci BA at TESU?
The Savvy Coders bootcamp was a 12 week course. Do you think it's possible to get it transferred as "Intro to Python Programming"?
More than half of the certs are not listed on the TESU site and I sent PLR@tesu.edu an email 3 weeks ago and they still have not replied. Admissions has been less than helpful. I recently sent the "transcripts" to transcripts@tesu.edu and am hoping to get a better response. Listed below are the certs I have for reference.
ISC2 - CISSP
Scrum Alliance - Certified Scrum Master
CompTIA - Security+
Microsoft - AI-900
Microsoft - AZ-900
Savvy Coders - Data Analytics and Python bootcamp
Cyber-AB - Certified CMMC Professional

There are four ways to get credit for IT certs at TESU:
1) PLR: if something is on TESU's PLR list, send the transcript (or the access link to it) to transcripts@tesu.edu. I never found the PLR office to be responsive either, but you can ask the registrar many pertinent questions as well.
2) ACE/NCCRS: If the cert program has an ACE or NCCRS credit recommendation, generally go through the normal process for either ACE or NCCRS credits.
3) Certs done through partnerships with other colleges/universities for academic credit, such as the Google certs through ASU ULC: send the transcript from that institution to TESU.
4) Portfolio assessment through the PLA process. You'll need to have substantial evidence proving/documenting your learning process and write a narrative about it.

The two microsoft courses have valid ACE credit
Exam AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals
MLS-0063

Exam AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
MLS-0054
AZ-900

So, 4 credits total. One trick you can do is 'upload' the badge of the Microsoft ones to your Credly since I heard Microsoft no longer automatically sends their badges to Credly. Then send the parchment to TESU.
Maybe the Sec+ will get credit since Skillsoft has an ACE reccomendation for it. But I am not sure the ACE grants credit to people that pass the test on other websites.
Looking at the ACE website, the CISSP should also grant 3 credits.

Quick question. Does anyone know how the AOS credits work for BACS @ TESU? I'm a bit loss.
I understand CIS and COS will work. But what about CYB, CLD, MLS, ITS, etc.? Do these directly transfer over to BACS AOS electives? This would make the Cloud Analytics Professional cert from Google particularly juicy.
Thank you for your help.

CLD transfers well.
DSI, CYB, MLS, and ITS do not generally transfer into the BACS, but there are a couple of exception like the ITS-1500 Sophia class that comes in under Intro to Programming if you pre-plan it.
The following classes go into the BACS from the Cloud Analytics Professional cert:
CIS-3110 Database Management, CLD-4300 AI Machine Learning, and Big Data in the Cloud
CYB-4500 Cloud Computing has not been accepted, but you could try making an appeal.

Merging your thread together and placing it into the TESU sub forum, you may also want to review the WIKI plan for BACS, and other pages on the WIKI regarding TESU:

I have my CISSP and am in the BACS right now. It came in as CYB-1200 even after appeal. In my case it duplicated credits I already got from the Google IT Support Certificate. As if these two things are at all equivalent? I think some blame goes to ISC2 here for how the course appears in the ACE guide. It’s only an elective, not a comp sci course. I didn’t need the credits, but my workplace is one of those kinds where it can sometimes be useful to be able to say I had X number of credits in a subject.
