EC LA 49* Research and Writing for the Major

Trying to get a little info on this as I will soon need to think about taking it.

First question is there a cheaper alternative that approximates it ? I know I can submit a graded paper,however the stone tablet mine was written on has broken so I need to start anew.

I would like to hear from someone who has completed it just to get a feel for it...One last thing is it pass/fail or graded ?

After looking around since I am (probably) not going to have a Major,do I get to skip this sucker ? From the title it would seem so but I would like to verify.

Hi Blitzstudie,

The quickest alternative to the LA49* requirement is to submit an 8 page graded paper in your chosen major, written in APA or MLA format, to the academic advising team. If you do not select a major, you are exempt from this requirement.

Hey Bro, I submitted a paper in lieu of LA 49, Since I have a Major in Crim Justice, which will be Conferred in Jan 16, 2009.

But , if you do not have a Major I believe that you can skip that section or requirement.
