Global Leadership and Personal Development:
The world desperately needs a new generation of leaders. The goal of this course is to empower learners and professionals around the world to be ethical, creative, agile and effective leaders under two critical contextual conditions: the technological transformations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in conjunction with cultural dynamics within and across societies in a Globalized World. This course provides learners and professionals across regions with the “Digital Global” mindsets and skillsets to be successful leaders in the 21st century developing competencies in areas such as purpose and vision, ethics and integrity, agility and resilience, innovation and creativity.
Registration for the first course, Global Leadership and Personal Development in English, will begin on April 8, 2022.
I found the course on EDX and started auditing it so I can try it out.

I was just thinking about the undergrad certificate for this program. If those can be transcripted as RA credit for a reasonable cost, that might be a fantastic help for those looking to get that BOG degree.

According to the panel talk, the only cost would be ordering transcripts(which is always the case with transcripts at any institution). They said there was no extra fees to get the courses "converted" to credit or anything like that.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. So if those are considered RA credits, then maybe the certificate and a few months of Sophia might be enough to get the BOG Associates. Maybe even top that off with a free cert from the American Dream Academy.

Has anyone heard more about the courses? I signed up for the pre-registration but all I've been able to view is the downloadable booklet. I'm hoping these courses have some sort of grad credit that I can transfer to Amberton. Anything to shorten my degree and save me some $$$. A few of these classes pique my interest all on their own outside of the certificate. April 8th is just around the corner. I was thinking that registration for the first course would open before then and the course would actually begin on April 8th. Maybe. Maybe not. Guess I need to watch my inbox.

Registration is open April 8th. The courses are self-paced. Yes, you can get graduate credit if you complete all 5 courses with a B average. You can't, for example, just take 1 course and get 3 credits from it. It's all or nothing.

Thanks, I think it's a good deal for me to slowly work on this if it's truly self-paced. Sometimes having so many cheap/free options, it's hard to decide what to take, but if these provide graduate credit, that's what I am looking at more vs the others!

The classes will all be staggered right? I think I read that one will be released every 8 weeks. That would make this a slow process for many of us. Looks like I'll be done with Amberton degree before all of these courses are available so that idea is out. Bummer. If I could find a 3 credit graduate ACE course in business I'd be happy.....haven't found any though. That's why I was hoping to take some of these and transfer them in, but it will take too long.

A few questions:
1) I will not graduate until August or December (depending on when I enroll), so should I wait until graduation to enroll, or am I able to enroll now, do some coursework, graduate from COSC, and then finish the courses to get my graduate credit?
2) If I complete the undergraduate certificate first, am I still eligible to take the graduate courses for free?
I wouldn't mind an RA undergrad and grad cert. in the same subject. Just want to make sure I understand their rules and whatnot.

You do not need to have any sort of degree to complete these programs. If I recall correctly, you can do the graduate level courses, but can not convert them for credit if you do not have a bachelor’s degree. So you should be able to start anytime, then convert after your degree.
They seemed to be unclear on when everything would roll out. I got the impression that the graduate level courses were rolling out first. Maybe someone else caught more info on that.
I am pretty sure you can do all of them, if you choose to do so.
