AS Degree Done!! Yeah!
#1
I'm officially done with my AS Degree through EC. Here is what I have done in the last 4 1/2 weeks! 18 credits in a month was a lot of work and I couldn't have done it without IC! Now I just hope the CLEP grades post by 3/20 so I can have a May conferral date! I still have a Uxcel grade pending too, but I took an extra CLEP because I knew it wouldn't post by 3/20.

EC A&P - B
EC Ethics Theory & Practice - B
EC Foundations of Geronotology - B
CLEP Intro to Sociology - 63
CLEP American Govt - 58

I wish I had found this great site a year ago then I would be long on my way to my bachelors degree. I'm now trying to decide where I want to go for my bachelor's degree. I would like to take more exams for credit but I'm worried they won't be accepted towards my BS degree. Has anyone used these credits toward their BS degree? I just hope if I leave EC their AS degree will be accepted by the school I choose to move to. I just paid my student fee in Feb. to EC and I wish I could just stay there, but they really don't have anything that would work except their health care education degree but I'm not sure that will work for me down the road. I'm just not sure how hard it would be to get a second BS degree from another school if I finish with EC. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. This is all new to me!

I just can't thank everyone enough for all the help! I'm not going to cancel my membership just yet, because I would like to keep the momentum going and see how quickly I can finish my BS degree. Are their any accredited BS degrees able to be earned totally by exam? Would they be accepted towards a second BS degree in another discipline at another school?

I know I didn't do as many exams as quickly as some here, but I'm very proud of my hard work - not bad for this old broad! Keep up the great work!

COSC has a BS in Healthcare Administration or Health Studies, you may want to look at that.
