I was browsing the AMU page and saw a new link tjey posted on their EE page. The "Fall Enrollment and Degrees Data" link is titled "ABET enrollment and degrees" so I think they're in the process. I think once their first class graduates we'll be looking at a regionally and ABET accredited EE program fully distance learning!

Only one person graduated so far , so I figure once they have more graduates they will be ABET.

I believe they applied as soon as they started offering the program. You do have to purchase home labs that can cost upwards of $7,000. Technology fees also add up to $3k. It's still not bad compared to the cost of ASU.

Its not bad. The program is very good. Also its EE not EET. I'm considering it instead of a masters.

If I'd have known they Were going for ABET, I'd have considered them sooner.

Problem is, even if they take all my gen eds, math and science courses, I'd still be looking at 2-3 years at full time.

I was thinking about that, but I think with a Bachelors with EE that's ABET accredited, its definitely worth it. I actually have a home lab set up, I have function generators, oscilloscopes, tons of components. The only thing I will have to buy to complete the program is that NI Elvis kit which costs upwards of $3000.

Hopefully, it's cheaper to buy that kit if you're a student in the program. I have some simulation software from NI for my DC circuits class that I believe normally costs several hundred or maybe a thousand but through the tesu store was only like $57.
