I have been contemplating applying my current credits, as well as the courses I am currently taking with Straighterline, toward an associates degree at Charter Oak. My main reason for this is that I would like to help my GPA with the DSSTs and Straighterline courses.
My next thought was to then complete a BSBA from TESC after this.
My previous GPA before all of the testing is less than desirable, and if I were to just complete the BSBA through TESC, I wouldn't have much of an opportunity to raise my GPA.
The reason I would like to finish my bachelor degree through TESC is primarily because of how affordable it is compared to Excelsior, and COSC seems to lack a viable business degree. I am aware of the fact that there may or may not be one in the near future, but I don't know exactly when that will be, or what the program will even consist of.
Does this sound like a good idea, or more like the ravings of a mad man?
Would I be better off trying to get an associates through Excelsior? I tried calculating the two, and COSC seems somewhat cheaper in that regard.
Do graduate programs even consider the letter grades assigned to DSST and Straighterline?
Thank you
