I'm getting ready to start my Aleks classes....I will need to take 3 of them...I know we have to pay to transfer credits....Can I do all 3 and then pay for them to be transferred?? And how does ACE come into this?? I'm a little confused. Thanks for any information.

Once you complete each math course, you will go to the ACE website -->
Transcript Services and click on the first option on that page ("ACE CREDIT Registry and Transcript Service"). Set up an account and request ACE approval for your
completed courses (remember: you have to get 70% or higher on an assessment, NOT on your pie chart, for it to be approved for credit!). In order to request credit approval for each of your completed courses, log into your ACE account and select the "Course Search" option from the box on the left-hand side of the screen. You will then be guided through a process during which you will select the course you just completed. They will send you an email once your credit has been approved (usually pretty quickly, if I remember correctly). Once all of your courses have been completed and approved and you are ready to send in your transcript to the school you are planning on attending, log into your ACE account and select the "Order Transcripts" option from the box on the left-hand side of the screen. You can then send one transcript that contains
all of your ALEKS courses to your college.
Hope that wasn't too confusing!

The most important thing about this process is to ensure you do not start your next ALEKS course until the one you have just completed is reflected on your online ACE transcript. ALEKS does not store results, so if you move onto your next class before ACE has picked up the credits you will have to take the exam again.
