Edit Reason: Edited title now that WGU launched the MSCS and MSSWE and it turned out the "AI program" is concentrations within those
)
According to someone on Reddit, WGU is designing an AI degree program. That's not hard to believe and, at this point, we'll probably see degrees in everything before WGU finishes that master's in computer science.

An MS in Comp Sci or Data Sci seems much more valuable than AI, especially since they are the foundation of AI.
That being said, alot of online schools already have programs in those areas, so they may want to pivot to AI and pave the way for an online degree in AI.

It's looking like it will be MSCS with different concentrations, like AI/ML:

Hmm, that's a good option if they add different concentrations, from CS, DS, AI/ML, or a mix/match of those, etc... I guess, someone can do a one-and-done degree pathway, the Bachelors and Masters at WGU, such as BSCS or Software Engineering, then MSCS or Data Science, AI/ML or whatever...

Great stuff, cool, roughly $4.2K plus fees for a Masters of choice if you can finish in 1 session or term...
Got to work hard on those requirements if you don't have the certs, degree, experience to finish quickly...

My current term for MSCSIA is $4,655 plus $200 fee. It keeps creeping up, so the sooner the better!
