If let's say the ACE recommendation expires on to 30th, would I need to have taken the tests, have them transferred to TESU, as well as them being accepted by TESU by/before Nov. 30th? Would there be a high risk of them not going through due to slowness in the process?

You can only get credits for FOREIGN languages this way, not the English Language. So they won't count in English (think of this as a Literature degree, not a language degree).
I mean, is there any way that a UL test from ACTFL/NYU could count in the Area of Study courses for the TESU BA in English—such as a UL writing test of an Asian language for the Non-Western Literature requirement?

once you pass the test, it's good. You don't need to worry about the expiration or getting it used at that point. It's just that those expiration dates are a bit of a scary deadline because it does technically mean that the exam taken AFTER that day wouldn't be worth credit, so until a renewal is posted, I'd shoot for doing it now if possible. (If I were a betting gal, I'd bet that they'll renew)

What is the difference between ACTFL & NYU language tests? I might consider one of them for Hindi.
If people here have tried out these tests, could you also tell me what the tests are like? Do they test a general competence in speaking and writing, or do they involve some of the classic literature in one’s choice language? I might do quite well if they merely tested my general vocabulary and writing skills in Hindi. But if they went into classical works in Hindi, I might fumble, as I last read some of them in high school- 20 years back!

ACTFL is currently expired (as of 11/20/18). I don't know much about the NYU test, but I think it is more comprehensive and expensive.

That's right - it's expired! I am still holding on to hope that they'll renew.
NYU isn't ACE, so we can't look it up.

The other thing with the NY exam is that you can't go on to the 2nd part of the exam unless you get a perfect score on the first part.
