Last night at work, I knocked out the NFA Fire Service Supervision and the Kaplan PLA course and sent them to ACE. Woke up this afternoon to an email, and they had already been approved and on my ACE transcript. Nice work, ACE!

I've transferred Kaplan, Sophia and ALEKS courses to ACE, they've all been in my account within hours! I even transferred old courses from 2000/2001 that no longer show up on their website, they did the research and had the 5 courses in my account within a week or so.

Is it ACE that is helpful when courses get added quickly, or is it the organization that you took the course through?
I requested a DSST to be added to mine on May 1, 2015 and have even emailed about it and keep getting excuses from ACE about the organization (Prometric) not communicating well. We still have a CLEP request from months ago. And the Ethics and the CPCU Code course I added hasn't been approved after almost a week (I emailed ACE about it yesterday morning with no reply yet). The SL courses on the other hand are approved within hours.
So I don't think ACE itself is doing a good or bad job when a course is approved quickly or not.

I took the CPCU course, and ACE was fine - it was that organization who declined my request because I put in the date I finished it (9/30 at 11:30pm PDT) and they had me finishing on 10/1. So, the org did not look at what might be the problem or try to contact me, they just rejected it (even though the date I put in was correct). They did not tell me to change the date, I had to figure it out myself. I had to delete and re-request it with a new completion date, ACE got it in there right away. In this instance, I put 100% of the issue onto the other org, rather than ACE.
I also had some old credits from a company that is no longer ACE-approved, but the courses I took back in 00/01 were at that time. ACE looked everything up for me, and told me exactly what to do to contact the company and what to get from them to get the credits. ACE had them in my account within a couple of weeks. They were nothing but helpful.
I had my ALEKS credits on there within hours. Sophia was within a couple of hours. Kaplan was hours.
I have never heard anything good about Prometric at all (my husband has gotten a lot of IT certs through them over the years), they've been nothing but problematic. So if ACE says they are the problem, I would believe them. Not sure about College Board (CLEP).
On this forum, I don't know that I've heard from anyone in the last few years about there being a problem with ACE that they couldn't resolve quickly. But I could be wrong. I think part of it is when ACE and whatever company create a partnership, and something electronic to get the credits there quickly. All of the companies I listed (and Straighterline) seem to have that. So that may be a major part of it.
But I do feel your pain in trying to get something resolved bouncing between 2 companies that points the finger at the other. That sucks! I hope you get it resolved soon.
