Good Luck getting in touch with ACE. I've emailed and tried calling multiple times. Emails are not answered and calls go directly to voice mail. Maybe if you're the first caller at 8:45am Eastern time, you might get to speak with someone.

I was having some health issues these past two months and had my credits with ACE, and I'm just finding out about this fiasco today. Am I right to assume that I just lost my credits? Did they transfer them? Is COSC or TESU going to be accepting Acclaim? I've been trying to log in to both websites to no avail. I'm in a state of shock right now....

I've called, emailed, and about three weeks ago, I sent a certified letter. No response at all.

Tesu accepts acclaim. The issue that’s still unclear is the credits that were recorded with ace prior to issueing acclaim badges.

I would suggest that you contact the providers where you earned your ACE credit to find out how to accomplish that.
The providers are the ones with the most skin in the game. If word gets out that students have lost years worth of ACE credits, it will likely devalue ACE certification in general and could put some providers out of business, or at the very least push them over to NCCRS, if they're able to transition to them...at least the ones with a presence in New York state.
I suspect that the major providers will push to work this out sooner rather than later.

Looks like they updated the page about transcripts
Quote:Beginning December 2020, ACE's transcript services for Learning Evaluations (formerly CREDIT) are offered through a Working Transcript. These enhanced credentials require issuance; please see the "Working Transcript Request" section below for additional details. Former transcripts offered through Credential Solutions/Parchment may still be considered valid.
and under the Working Transcript Requests
Quote:If you completed and passed a course or exam that carries ACE Learning Evaluations (formerly CREDIT) recommendations, you will be sent an email invitation to claim your free badge. After claiming the badge, you may create an account on Acclaim and use that account to order free academic transcripts without further approvals. Visit Acclaim's Transcript help page for questions that may arise regarding Working Transcripts.
If you completed an ACE endorsed course or exam and have not received an email invitation to claim your badge, please contact your training provider for more information. If you are not sure whom to contact at your training provider, please connect with the ACE Resource Center at credit@acenet.edu for assistance.
It's a shame because before all this happened, if a provider went out of business at least you had the credit saved in ACE's system but now it looks like if a provider went out of business then it's gone... and if a provider is still in business, you have to hope that either they make the transition to acclaim OR if they offer transcripts via that the university you are planning to use the credits at accepts the transcripts (An example where this is not the case is Parchment and Tesu)
And now it opens the question of - What happens when Credly/Acclaim is acquired/goes out of business? Does that mean you have to jump through hoops again?

I emailed TEEX a while back to find out how to claim a badge and haven't heard anything back at all. Not even a "we received your email" email. I'll probably email them again tomorrow.

Darn it. I bookmarked the Ace transcript login page awhile back. So it all looked normal for me this whole time up until today. Even a few days ago I took a free one credit TEEX and added to ACE just to test it, worked perfectly.
I meant to send my ACE to TESU last night but I forgot. Now today I check the bookmark and it redirects to a new page. How do I use this new system? I don't even know how to login.

Wow. I sent out my ace transcript in time but always assumed I'd still be able to look at my ace transcript and now I can't even do that. I can't remember all the random ace courses I'd done over the years and now I regret not making a personal copy of my transcript to keep.

You MUST use Acclaim now. All the credits that were in your ACE profile as of yesterday are now gone. You can find out how to reclaim at least some of your credits by following the instructions under the "transcription" section here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Am..._Education For now, your TEEX credits are gone. Sophia, too, if you're going to TESU and took courses prior to October. (Some colleges will accept Sophia from Parchment but TESU is not one of these.)
