Hi All
Pardon my laziness, my friends, I have not been on the site for quite some time and it appears things have changed mightily. What is the best way (fastest and cheapest way) to accumulate strictly Accounting Credits for a CPA to transfer to a transcript only.?
Study.com >TESU Transcript only? My state allows Study credits on a college transcript to count for CPA as long as the Accounting credits are on a college transcript. I already have a BA and MBA for credits.
THANK YOU!

If your state accepts Study.com courses, then I would do that. If you run out of courses that can be used, Onlinedegree.com has one accounting course. I used that at the very end to get the equivalent of an Accounting 100 course (sort of) for $9. This is because my first accounting course was financial accounting which is a little bit different from Introduction to Accounting. If you already know financial accounting, you can get through it quickly.
OnlineDegree
Intro to Marketing and Strategy ($9) | Intro to Microeconomics ($9)
Study
Intro to Managerial Accounting ($70) | Advanced Accounting ($70) | Managerial Accounting ($80) | Intermediate Accounting 2 ($90) | Intermediate Accounting I ($90) | Cybersecurity Policies & Management ($80) | Management Information Systems ($80) | Data Structures & Algorithms ($80) | Intro to Programming ($70) | Computer Architecture ($70) | Calculus ($80) Database Management ($80)
Systems Analysis & Design ($70) | Discrete Math ($80) | Intro to Operation Systems ($80)
Saylor.org
Intro to Computer Science I ($25)

As someone who has had this question recently myself, the best I could find for the higher-level stuff that comes from an RA (and AACSB, if you care) school was University of North Alabama;

$545 a class ($181 an hour) and they have most everything upper level you're going to need.

The state of Washington accepted TESU transcript. All of my accounting credits on TESU were ACE and NCCRS assessment credits plus the Tax TECEP.

Hi
Where did you get your Auditing course from? Was it enough 1 TECEP tax course to meet requirements for CPA exam?

Every state is going to have different requirements.
If it doesn't matter what state you get licensed in (e.g. you are a federal employee or would like to be) The state of Washington was one of the more generous ones in allowing ACE, NCCRS and TECEP credits to count.
I took Auditing at Oakton Community College. I don't recall if it was a required course for WA though. I needed the class for a potential job. I just finished it in May. If it was required, I must have indicated it was in process.

I am going to open this back up as I am looking at Washington State for the CPA Exam as well.
I noticed the initial question was not understood. The state of Washington will accept CLEP courses if they are on a college transcript. I believe the original poster and I are in the same situation. We already have our degrees and we need new clep exams added to a college transcript somewhere so they will be accepted.
Are there still any colleges that will to this? That will receive in your Clep transcript and put it on one of their own? I remember someone doing this for a bit and they stopped. I just don't know if someone else jumped o the opportunity.

Are you looking for stictly Upper Division Accounting coursework or just CLEP exam scores? TESU is still the place to try for the latter. The former is a more in-depth question that depends on a lot of factors.
