You really can't study for this one. It's more of a "either you know it or you don't" type of a thing. All you really do is read the stories and figure out what it's talking about. I went in and took the test with zero study and got a pretty good score. It's generally considered to be the easiest test out there.

You can always get the REA book to prepare.

Hi everyone. I am new to the site and have never attempted a CLEP exam. I am scheduled to take the A&I Literature exam in a few weeks. I have taken the first practice exam provided in the REA study guide and got a 45 on it without studying anything. Any additional study tips and do you think I am ready?
thanks

Please forgive my ignorance but what exactly is the REA study guide and where can I find it?

An REA guide is a test prep book. You can find them at Amazom.com
Good luck, I'm taking this one soon too! Brian BA Social Sciences TESC 2009

Avreezee Wrote:Hey everyone, It depends on what you need, but Sociology is a fairly easy CLEP to take. I actually bought an REA study guide, read it twice, studied for a total of four hours, and passed. If you are good at English, maybe take a practice test for English comp. with essay. If you need many more CLEPS, I would suggest Principles of Management CLEP, and Principles of Supervision DSST- they are a very similiar test. I would even study for one and take both- that is what I did. I used just IC for those last two CLEPS. GOOD LUCK! |
