Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to the Alanis Business Academy YouTube channel, specifically the Marketing playlist. I had the Principles of Marketing Clep scheduled for this afternoon and was feeling underprepared even though it's supposed to be one of the easier ones, so I binge watched the playlist over a couple hours. Several questions I ended up knowing the answer to because of those videos, and it gave me a good overview of the main points.
I had already gone through the Modern State course (watched the videos, which were average; skimmed the 550 page textbook for subheadings, bolded words, and summaries; and went through the quizzes). The Peterson practice tests for Marketing are WAY harder than the Clep. Seriously, I was scoring 50% and scratching my head on most of the concepts the questions were based on, so I got a little nervous that I was taking the test too lightly. Fortunately, I found the Alanis playlist and it definitely filled in some gaps. I ended up scoring a 75. They have many other playlists for business subjects, which I haven't checked out yet, but I assume they're similar. It's in the style of Khan academy (black screen with writing/drawing and narration).
P.S. I did search and saw there are a few posts about Alanis from around 2013-2015, but I hadn't stumbled across those since that was long before I joined here.
