A $20 MBA
#11
I wonder if this school is even open to students outside Brazil. It seems to ask for a  CPF  “Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas”, number when you want to make a purchase.

It doesn't belong to another university, it's more like a college. They have accreditation as an institution, you can check it here: https://emec.mec.gov.br/emec/consulta-ca...eb/MTg2Mzc=

However, this kind of degree doesn't have much oversight from the Ministry of Education, the only real requirement is that the institution is accredited, but, unlike other degrees, the Ministry doesn't audit its quality. This kind degree is called "especialização" or "pós-graduação" (or, unofficially, MBA), and the quality of it varies a lot.

I don't think this kind of degree is of much use for non-Brazilians, unless you want to learn and practice Portuguese or want something "international" on your resume.

Thank you for the clarifications. I'd be curious what the final certificate or diploma lists the award as. Something like a "Postgraduate Specialization Certificate" would still sound decent as part of one's professional development. Are you familiar with the standard nomenclature for these awards, marcelor78?

I've written to the college to inquire if foreign students are permitted to study. If they respond, I'll share updates here.

I fount this on linkedin:
It says "The directors of Faculdade IMES, in accordance with the conclusion of the degree of "Pós-Graduação Lato Sensu" in MBA Human Resources, Coaching and Leadership, ...., award the title of Specialist in MBA Human Resources, Coaching and Leadership to VALTER (the student). The wording is a bit confusing, but is from the original. At the botton, there is a link and code to verify its authenticity, meaning this is a digital document, they probably charge more for a print version of it.
