Add me to the list of people whose application was rejected with no real explanation. I think the school needs to be more transparent about the type of students they want to enroll.
They want students from Africa to enroll. Right now, there just working to establish the program until they can get accreditation that is separate from Pattens. They don't need hundreds or thousands of students in order to establish that.

Hey,
Thanks for the information, however, I think there should be some transparency if that is the case. Just my opinion.

Many schools reject people without explanation. They may not have thought your goals in the essay met with what they were looking for. In my class there are four people out of like 6-8 enrolled in the entire degree. They were EXTREMELY selective.
I'm from the USA, btw.

Yes I see that. My responses to the interview questionnaire were very very thorough. However, this would’ve been my 5th degree, so I assume that would’ve factored into the decision. I’m not too disappointed because I was applying based on the cost.
Anyway, best of luck.

I kind of agree that their target student is from Africa. Maybe they needed some American students so they can get or keep their accreditation. I applied too and was denied. I have two master's degrees with my last GPA at a 3.9. My goals aligned with giving back to my community. I notice that when it comes to education things cost more in the U.S. When I was undergrad I bought one of my textbooks off of Amazon. It had a cheaper price tag and stated on the cover not to be sold in the U.S. I used the book and it was the same exact information as the U.S. version of the textbook. To me it doesn't seem like they are going to make anything cheaper for a U.S. student.

Can you write more about the workload while studying?
Are there weekly assignments or just one final per course? How big are the assignments? How many pages?
Are there quizzes?
Exams after each course? Are there proctored exams?
And other details to understand the workload and complexity of studying.

I have a thread that shows the assignments due in the first course. Quizzes, final exam, papers are also due. See it for the info. There is a proctored exam in that course.

Hi all,

I am a very junior member of this forum, after reading your posts about this program, I sent them an email and they sent me the link to the application. I am based in Australia so we’ll see how this goes.

Thanks

It's worth it. I have great interactions with my professor and the price point is great. The instructors actually review the work and provide relevant feedback and guidance. I finish my first course tomorrow and can't wait to start the next. I'm happy to answer any questions about the program.
