90 CommCollege credits - help!
#11
For ANTHRO101 - Biological Anthropology, you need to send an appeal to TESU to ask them to move it to science.  Send an email to advising with the following info:

1) find the page in your college catalog that shows that your school considers this a science course (may be on the IGETC plan)
2) take a snip of the entire page (showing the name of the school, the page number, and the catalog year) and circle pertinent info in red
3) find the page in the catalog showing the course description
4) snip, circle again
5) copy the link

They will most likely move the course for you.

That being said, I'm not paying top dollar for a generic BALS from TESU!  Instead, I'm looking at the following:

1) TESU's BA in Comm, where you're going to do a 16cr Single Term, and take Mass Comm II (after making sure they change your Mass Comm I course as COM-120)

2) EC's BLS degree which is $2600 cheaper than TESU

3) UMPI's BLS with whatever minor you choose (and I'd ask if I could get an English minor since they have English courses in the YourPace program already); 2-3 terms will be $2800-$4200, which is what most people here are doing this in, so it's very doable

Why an English minor? They don't have the courses required and the courses aren't available in YourPace for the English minor.

This is what's required for the English minor - 18 credits. English Comp isn't included.

And here's what's required for the BA in English/Professional Communication. There aren't enough 300-400 level courses. There's 1 and 3 are required.

I thought the English/Prof Comm/Journalism degree had a similar minor option, I didn't realize they split up those degrees in the regular school.  Sorry.

Nope. On campus they're all split up especially the minors.
