57 on US Hist II...not good enough

I studied for 2 days, online prep exclusively and took Hist II today. I got a 56 but I'm devastated because my university (CBU), in Memphis requires a 60. The test was tough, I wish I would have read this board sooner and not focused any on the last 30 years, as there were 0 questions after 1980!!! That made me angry. The test was tough, harder than I expected, very tricky questions where 2 answers could be right. Had I studied longer and known what to focus on, I believe I could have reached a 60. No luck though as I need to graduate in Dec and only need 3 hours of lower level electives.
so plan B is American Govt. I have noticed some here say this is a tough one, again I need a 60. Any suggestions? Should I take US Hist 1 instead? Any and all help and encouragement will be appreciated.

We have all been in the same boat at some point .....hang in there.....Take Us History 1 for sure.....and then take US History 2 again in 3 months....I took both, but's its been 10 years ago or more.....I love IC so I suggest using it
