Straighterline's Microbiology course is currently priced at $25 and they are running a code for $20 off
code: EZSAVE
I registered both my boys, I paid $5 each. I'm not even sure if they'll take the class, but I wanted to grab it asap just in case!
P.S. Course syllabus shows 800 points possible for graded tests before the 200 point final exam. 700 points needed to pass.

That's exactly what I did a few months ago, I think another person on this thread did as well.
There's another course that's $25, it's the Intro to Statistics course, but I would go for Microbio instead!

Intro Stats would be a nightmare. There is no book - you have to use from the list of free resources (Khan Academy, Saylor, etc.) and the quizzes are 50%, final exam 50%. CLOSED BOOK.

I can confirm it is a nightmare. I purchased it and didn't finish out of frustration. I'm not very good a stats though. So mileage my vary.

Would this course work under tesu's understanding the natural and physical world? I see tesu transcribes it as BIO-351 and I don't see that
here so does that mean it's not accepted for that section?
It's so CRAZY to see an UL course for $5 so I feel I should take it regardless lol!

So this would be $99 for the month and then $5 for the course for someone who is not currently subscribed right? What is the best way to get the book for this course? And is there a time limit on the course or can I buy now and subscribe in like March and take the course then?
Sorry if this is common knowledge, I've never used SL and never really looked into it either.
Edit to add: I just went to the website to snoop around and looked at the Microbiology course. When I went to "X" out of the page, a promo code popped up to try to bring me back. Promo code SCIENCE will also get $20 off any Science course if the originial code posted does not work. The course has to be bought in conjunction with a subscription.
