Ok, new question
#1
With all the writing assignments from TESC, I wonder if I can switch to the Enrolled Option, take all my classes elsewhere and then get the diploma from TESC. I am currently under the Military Degree Completion Program, but have yet to register for any classes. Since I would be paying out of pocket up from anyway and since I don't need many classes I wonder is this is doable. A lot of classes I see from LSU Independent Learning do not appear to have these writing requirements. Sorry for all the questions, however I'm just looking for the best way to finish a degree.

Yes. You can actually stay under the MDCP, and keep transferring outside courses in (B&M, online, clep/dsst, etc). Once you're ready to graduate, you can switch to enrolled and do your capstone (if your degree plan requires a capstone). I did this myself.

This way, you only need to pay the enrollment fee once. And as military, you are treated as a NJ resident which means your enrollment fee is $1800, which is do-able. But if you are using your GI Bill, check with TESC and the VA on how they re-imburse outside courses, BEFORE you enroll in these courses.

PrLoko-isms
Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

Thanks again Prolko. I thought I read somewhere where someone said you couldn't do this any longer or that TESC banned this option. Basically, this allows someone to graduate from there with 0 credits earned at the college I assume?
