Lol.. I didn't ever take Biz Law I. I needed UL business credits. I thought about studying for both at once, but when I realized that BL I was a very difficult test that covered a lot of different material, it didn't seem to be an easy overlap.
I read though the specific feedback forum and the DSST sheet to see what topics were covered. Then I had the big green Barron's book and read ONLY the chapters that the DSST sheet listed as being on the test. It's for real - if it's not on the DSST sheet, it really is not covered on the test. I also read the small REA BL II book.
Youtube lectures were key on this one. I didn't understand Holder in Due Course, until I found the "Holder in Due Course Blues" on youtube. Pretty cool song that some BL professor wrote and yes it helped a lot!
Lastly, I relied upon my years in sales. I know that sounds weird, but in B2B software sales, I do a ton of contract negotiation during the sales process, which for me can mean anywhere from 3 to 18 months. Lots of the business stuff was easy for me and I've spent so much time walking my clients through contracts that I have finally figured out how to speak "legalese." I really think that this could be intimidating for people who've aren't used to the language. I mean seriously.. why can't consideration and negotiation and instruments mean the same thing to lawyers as they do to the rest of us?

Thanks for the info. I thought all business majors required intro to biz law.
Maybe thats just a TESC thing.
Biz law was interesting for me but most of it was new to me so it took 3 days of intense reading and studying to pass with a high grade, I cant remember my actual grade offhand.
