10 Tools Used to Keep You TRAPPED in the MATRIX!
#1
Exclamation
The truth some people need to hear! It's a pretty deep conversation.

It's a long video though it only goes to 1:08 on the main topic. The rest are responses to chat comments.

10 Tools Used to Keep You TRAPPED in the MATRIX are:
1. Possessions
2. Debt
3. Job & Saving for Retirement
4. Public School
5. Status
6. Marriage
7. Children
8. Fear
9. Entertainment
10. Foods we eat

None of these things are bad or wrong. It's just the way these things are mixed with a certain amount of programming by society that these things can become a problem.

Any comments on any of these items on the list?

Interesting list to say the least, I really don't get it as it's just a point of view (his)... BTW, the video is a tad over 2 hours! I didn't watch it all! It's a mix/match of everything, kind of like organizing or grouping them into these specific categories or lists.

Seems they've made it all fall under 'life, money, responsibilities, school, work' and broke it down further. If someone wanted to, they can further break it down by expanding the list to 15 or more, again it's all categories that they're placing these into.

Basically, the chat was mentioning people being trapped in this mix of programming and they're naming it a matrix, propaganda. I think this is the opposite of the Great Resignation, people need to think for the greater good for themselves and their counterparts.

#1 point talks about possessions and the idea of minimalism.

One of the programming things about possessions can come down to brands, and by buying certain brands, you are buying status. With clothing, I have been guilty of spending too much on name-brand stuff.

Minimalism's idea is that less is more.  You can get to the point where you own so much stuff that the stuff actually owns you and ends up adding complexity to your life.

One thing I have done is that I got rid of most of the physical books I own and went digital for everything. That freed up a lot of space.

Some people can take minimalism to an extreme, start counting the items they own, and get that number down to 100/50/25 total items. Minimalism is a personal thing, and you can do whatever you want with it.

#2 Debt
College debt definitely is a big problem for a lot of people. For example, if you took $32,000 (avg student loan debt for a bachelor's degree) and invested that in the S&P 500 (10% avg return), you would have $1.4 million in 40 years, which would exceed the $900k avg you would make over someone who had a high school diploma.

Note: The break-even point is close to $20,000 for college debt for a bachelor's degree.

#4 Public School
My main problem with schools is that they usually teach perfection over progress which is the exact opposite of what should be taught. If you dare to think outside the box and don't conform to the norms, you are given lower grades or could fail, thus not being able to graduate. The programming makes you a robot instead of an innovative thinker.

Exactly, destroying critical thinking skills and aligning with the dictatorship
