At first I blamed it on the pitiful excuse for internet that we have, but then I realized that it was just InstantCert that was having on-and-off server issues. Is anyone else noticing this, or is it just me?

I am working towards a History degree at TESC and wanting to do take all CLEP and DANTES exams to fulfill my requirements. I was looking at two Excelsior exams which look intersting, but was wondering if anyone knew what class they correspond to at TESC. TESC lists CLEP and DANTES exams on their website and specifically say which class they coorespond to, but not Excelsior. I am looking at the World COnflicts since 1900 and American Dream. Has anyone taken these and used them at TESC? Any help would be most appreciated.

I have seen several members post about WGU and I have a few questions. Is anyone a current or former student? What do you thing about WGU? How are their classes? Do they have a favorable credit transfer policy? Their website indicates they do, along with credit for work experience, but I'm always leary when I see that. Are their online classes well structured? Do they have a lot of busy work or a fair amount. I'm interested in any feedback anyone has about WGU. Thanks!

ECE practice test grades vs. ECE test grades |

I've seen postings in the past where people have been able to share experiences and advice on the Peterson tests, relating how the practice test scores will likely relate to the actual test grades.
Can anyone share their experiences with the ECE practice tests and how that seemed to play out with the actual test results????
Thanks,
Judy

struggling with west civ II clep study |

I am studying every day for my Western Civ II CLEP exam that I will be taking next week Feb 8th and I feel like I am getting sunk. I am studying the IC flashcards, the REA book and the peterson's free exams and I feel like I am getting nowhere. There just seems to be so much material. I am wondering if I would be better off taking the rise and fall of the soviet union and western europe since 1945 first and then western civ II. Any thoughts??? I feel like the flashcards are confusing me more since they are fill in formats and I often am required to fill in a word that doesn't seem to be the most important point of the topic. Any help would be most appreciated...

Can you test out for a certification at TESC? While I am interested in the BSBA in Public Administration, some of the classes for the certificate are also part of the degree program. Just curious if it's worth it or doable?
The Undergraduate Certificate in Public Administration is an 18-credit program that provides students with a solid foundation in the field of public service and policy. The program is designed to transfer easily into the Public Administration degree program at Thomas Edison State College.
Undergraduate Certificate in Public Administration
Required courses Credits
Budgeting or Financial Management 3
Public Administration 3
Students select 12 credits from the following: 12
■Business In Society (3)
■Principles of Management (3)
■Public Administration II (3)
■Public Personnel Management (3)
■Public Policy (3)
Total 18 credits
