Visiting colleges attended via distance education/online? |

Now that we live in a world of internet and distance education, anyone ever visit or plan on visiting schools such as TESC after maybe getting a degree from them? Like myself, wouldn't mind one day driving to ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO, and dropping in on ENMU-R to see the school that I attained a degree from. Also maybe LSU one day in Baton Rouge to see that school I once took or course in. Or maybe even one day dropping in on ACE in Dupont Circle in DCA to check that out. It would be pretty cool. As for LATEBLOOMER whom game me the idea on another thread, I believe TRENTON NJ is not anywhere on the Jersey shore nor really that close to it. It borders Pennsylvania if anything, north of Philly along the Delaware river. I'm not a cap and gown kind of guy, but would just like to drop on in one day if I ever do degree it out from them.

Ok, I see lots of degrees listed here, some with two or three degrees or even more. (Guess I should list all mine too.) My question is, has your degrees paid off yet? Are you guys/gals working in the field you want? Are you disappointed in your education to pay results? Are you satisfied? Are you still hopeful of becoming CEO or management? Are you biding time? I understand average age of Tesc students are 40. I'm assuming by looking at the POTUS question poll, most were born here during Reagan or Clinton. 20's and 30's. How is college paying off these days in this bad economy? Anyone here breaking 6 figures?

Ok, here is what I read a while back. Written by, to my surprise, was Bill O'brien of the FAA whom I saw personally give a lecture in Utica New York in 1993 for graduating A/C mechanics at Mohawk Valley Community College auditorium. Incidentally, MVCC had a deal with our aviation school of Riverside School of Aeronautics to accept one year of college after attending the aviation maintenance program. I thought this was a bad deal, especially since I had a previous Associates Degree from another school from another era. Now read this link. I about flipped when I read this. It was such a great deal, I went ahead and did it. I only needed one more course, at 145 bucks, and I got an AAS from ENMU in Aviation Mx Technology. I'm trying to pull something similar with TESC, lets see how many they take. Anyone with aviation should read this article. It was this article that helped me achieve an AAS from ENMU-R.

Hi All
I am trying to finishing up and figure out the easiest path. I realized I am closer to a BA in Social Sciences than Liberal studies. What tests would you suggest? Also, do you think Crimial Justice might be a quicker route? I just took Technical writing Dsst that is not showing on eval.
What are your thoughts? Thanks in adavnce. All your advice has helped me obtain an AAS Safety and Security and closer to my BA.
